A Sunday morning house fire damaged a home on Indian Cave Road in New Market early Sunday morning Dispatchers sent firefighters to the home shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday.

When New Market volunteer firefighters arrived on the scene flames were coming through the roof and back of the house.

New Market Volunteer Fire Department was assisted by Jefferson City Fire, Lakeway Central Fire, and West Hamblen Fire.

The New Market Police Department and Jefferson County EMS were also on scene.
