The Fraternal Order of Police Cherokee Lodge No. 4 held its 16 Annual Car Show at Fred Miller Park on May 9, awarding 37 plaques. “We gave out 37 plaques, which included the Top 25,” Event Coordinator Jim Newman said. “The first 25 entries received dash plaques and had an entry for drawings of local gift cards.” There was a silent auction held as well. Newman said that the Lodge was happy with the turnout of not only local cars but also cars from the surrounding Lakeway Area counties as well. Next year’s show will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2027.
