Superior Car Wash hosts ribbon cutting

Superior Car Wash, the newest hand-operated car wash in Morristown, held a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce at its location at 1718 Buffalo Trail.

“More than anything, we’re just happy to be ready to help out in the community,” business partner Daniel Velasco said. “We have a lot of Hispanics coming in left and right. Morristown is a growing city. We have a lot of construction workers who (aren’t able) to clean their cars and trucks.

Eulogio Velasco is partnering with Daniel in operating the business.

“Here at Superior, we clean anything that has wheels on it. We’re just really happy to help people in the community. Morristown is a nice town. Let’s keep it clean.”

A basic hand wash is $30, with a premium wash which includes placement of Rain-X on the windshields are $45. Hand washing using microfiber cloths avoids scratching of car paints or surfaces.

When one brings their car to Superior, customers can watch the wash take place. Depending on the type of car or vehicle, an outside wash takes about five to seven minutes, with an interior clean taking about 15 to 20 minutes. Customers may also leave their vehicles to be cleaned while they go to work.

Hours of operation are: Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 423-312-0761.
