Juneteenth celebration set for Friday
The 2026 Hamblen Juneteenth Celebration is scheduled from 4 to 10 p.m. this Friday at Morristown Landing and organizers say it’s jam packed with great talent, food and more, all ready to celebrate the national holiday.

Arts in the Park seeking artists, artisans and crafters
Arts In The Park is back for the 19th year on Saturday, September 19, 2026, 10 am to 4 pm, at Downtown on the Green & Farmers Market. Application Deadline is August 22 Arts In The Park, “Art In The Heart of Hamblen County,” is a one-day celebration of visual arts— two-dimensional fine art, fine quality crafts, artistic photography, and sculpture. Applications from artists and crafters will be accepted through August 22.
