Dollywood offers update on two fall events

Harvey’s Boo Bash, Dollywood theme park’s very first separatelyticketed, after-hours special event, is set to carve out a new fall tradition, serving up a harvest of familyfriendly fun and festivities after dark.

Harvey’s Boo Bash takes place on Oct. 16, 23 and 30 after Dollywood’s Harvest Festival presented by Humana closes to regular park guests at 9 p.m.

The event takes place from 9 p.m. until midnight, providing guests the opportunity to enjoy Great Pumpkin LumiNights as well as several exclusive activities and offerings just for them.

Among the fun are a number of candy collecting stations and access to many of Dollywood’s award-winning attractions, including the allnew NightFlight Expedition. Those who purchase tickets to Harvey’s Boo Bash can enter the park beginning at 6 p.m. on their selected date.

A limited number of tickets will be sold each evening, meaning those who attend have more opportunities to ride Dollywood’s available attractions and collect enough free candy to satisfy even the largest sweet tooth. In addition, guests will get to enjoy meet & greets with all of Dollywood’s favorite harvesttime characters, while two dance parties also take place during the evening, one at 9:30 p.m. to kick off all the festive fun, and another at 11 p.m. for a latenight celebration!

Special merchandise items to commemorate the event will be available for purchase along with unique culinary items that offer guests a chance to try new flavors only available at Harvey’s Boo Bash.

Attendees also receive a complimentary candy bag, commemorative souvenir cup, free Coca-Cola fountain drinks (with use of cup), and a free themed snack. Allergen-friendly items also will be available at various locations in the park.

Guests will be able to wear costumes during Harvey’s Boo Bash, and costume guidelines are available at Dollywood.com/BooBash.

Tickets for the event are $129.99 + tax, and special ticket bundles— which provide a one-day Dollywood admission—also are available for guests who want to visit the park prior to 6 p.m. Season passholders and guests at Dollywood’s resort locations are eligible for a $5 discount.

Run Dollywood event shifts to expanded three-day schedule

Run Dollywood is going the extra mile with an expanded three-day race weekend that lets runners “fall” in love with the beauty of Dollywood and the Smoky Mountains during the award-winning Harvest Festival presented by Humana. The race weekend takes place Sept. 25-27, and participant registration is now open.

The fall event features three days of racing, beginning with an exciting Friday night 5k on Sept. 25 that takes place through the illuminating glow of Dollywood’s popular Great Pumpkin LumiNights. A 10k and 1-mile Kids Fun Run take place on Saturday, Sept. 26, with the headline Half Marathon slated for Sunday, Sept. 27.

Following a successful sell-out during the inaugural Run Dollywood weekend in April, the fall events create even more excitement for participants thanks to a completely different race atmosphere featuring the unforgettable sights and sounds of the Harvest Festival and Great Pumpkin LumiNights.

“We had an incredible response to our inaugural Run Dollywood event,” said Eugene Naughton, President of Dollywood Parks & Resorts. “We learned a lot during that first weekend and we’re applying those learnings to the fall event. The addition of the Friday night race and the expanded three-day event schedule provide our runners and their families with the perfect reason to come experience fall in the Smokies. I think it will be a race-cation they will never forget.”

As was the case during the April Run Dollywood event, runners will receive an exclusive finisher medal, event-specific T-shirt and race bib. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy the park’s worldclass attractions and shows—voted the #1 theme park in the U.S. in 2025 by Tripadvisor users. The same unique experiences runners enjoyed throughout the route this spring will return for the fall event. Participants raved about the race features—from on-course entertainment and character interactions to a mid-race cinnamon bread station—saying no other marathon events were quite like this one located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Registration and race details are available at Dollywood.com/Run-Dollywood. Interested participants are encouraged to register early as race entries for the inaugural weekend filled quickly.

Racers are encouraged to extend their stay by booking accommodations at either of Dollywood’s awardwinning resort properties, Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort or Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa. Race weekend resort guests enjoy a number of special privileges including convenient resort to race course transportation and easy access to all race activities.
