Rose Center hosting Tennessee Artists Association exhibit
The Tennessee Artists Association will exhibit recent works from its members at Rose Center during the month of May.
An opening reception will be held Thursday, April 30, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
Sixty works by over 30 artists from around East Tennessee are on display, showcasing a variety of talent in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, photography, and even alcohol ink on copper.
Most pieces are representational paintings of landscapes, portraits, animals, and florals, with a few abstract works.
Members of the TAA last exhibited at Rose Center in the fall of 2024.
“It is a privilege to be able to exhibit in such a historical location,” said Marcia Shelly, exhibit coordinator for TAA. “The venue is remarkable, and our artists are honored and pleased to display their work in this beautiful space.”
Works from TAA members will be on display in the Edith Davis Gallery from April 30 through May 29, during regular business hours.
The TAA has monthly meetings, workshops, classes and exhibits in various locations in and around Knoxville.
