Clinch-Powell celebrates new location in Newport

NEWPORT – Clinch-Powell Resource Conservation and Development Council had a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at its Newport location at Tuesday, April 28. Additional community events will be held to give community members the opportunity to learn about the Shift program, which can help folks make the shift to homeownership. During the events there will be food and activities for kids. Events will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the following locations:

Wednesday, April 29 – Newport City Park, 100 City Park in Newport

Thursday, April 30 – Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, 234 Lincoln Avenue in Newport

Monday, May 4 – Wonderfully Made Coffee, 2591 Cosby Highway in Newport
