Dobyns-Bennett 6, Morristown West 0
Morristown West dropped a third straight District 1-4A game as it was shut out by Dobyns-Bennett. The Trojans had runners in scoring position in each of the last three innings but couldn’t send any of them home. West had four hits in the loss to D-B’s six, but the Indians were more opportunistic, scoring two runs in the first, second and fourth innings.
Science Hill 12, Morristown East 2
Parker Setsor doubled in the first inning to give East an early 1-0 lead, but Science Hill scored 12 unanswered after that, ending the game an inning early in a run-rule win. Setsor was 2-for-3 at the plate. The bottom three hitters of the lineup stole the show for Science Hill, which combined for seven hits and seven RBIs. Nine-hole hitter Aiden Vermillion had three hits and five RBIs.
Lakeway Christian 6, The King’s Academy 4
Cainan Crowe went 3-for-4 as he homered and doubled as the Lions won their fourth game in a row. LCA had to rally for the win as they trailed in the top of the seventh inning before Crowe’s big fly tied the game at 4-4 and then Bryson Allen provided what would be the game winner with a two-run blast. Luke Burnett and Daniel Rodriguez combined to strike out nine TKA batters.

West Ridge 5
The Chiefs snapped a recent slide with an impressive 10-5 doubling up of the Wolves. Eli Boyd hit two doubles and ended the day with a pair of RBIs.
Washburn 15, Cosby 1
Bryson Coffman drove in three runs to help lead the Pirates to a 15-1 victory. David Bailey tripled for Washburn and Bryson Clay added a double.
Gatlinburg-Pittman 10, Claiborne 2
The Bulldogs had only one less hit than G-P but five errors led to a 10-2 setback. Only two of the Highlanders’ runs were earned. Brayden Grim went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base.
Carter 3, Cocke County 2
The Fighting Cocks led 2-0 heading into the sixth, but the Hornets scored three in the final two innings to steal a win. Devin Caldwell had two hits and two RBIs, while Talon Leas struck out six.

Bearden 0
The Lady Patriots had 14 hits in a run-rule win over Bearde. Zoey Horton went 3-for-4 in the leadoff spot, and Kenzli Trent did well sending her home, going 4-for-4 with four RBIs. Kayli Reece also had a pair of hits and as many RBIs.
Cocke County 11, Carter 0
The Lady Red continued their winning ways, scoring nine in the second inning to run-rule the Lady Hornets and improve to 17-1. Ceegee McNealy had four hits and a pair of RBIs, including a homer. Bentleigh Morris and Ellie Proffitt also homered.

Cumberland Gap 0
Brinkley Hollin tossed a no-hitter against the Lady Panthers, striking out 10 batters and walking three. Jaycee Hall homered, Callie Noah tripled and Jacey Ferguson his two doubles for the Lady Bulldogs.
Greeneville 7, Cherokee 4
The Lady Greene Devils built a 6-0 lead through the first three innings before the Lady Chiefs were able to score four times to make the final tally 7-4. Kenzie Collins and Keircee Manis both drove in two runs.
Lakeway Christian 4, David Crockett 3
Avery Ramey struck out 11 David Crockett batters, Birdie Russell and Liliana Herrera each hit a triple and McKinley Grubb left the yard as the Lady Lions powered past the Lady Pioneers 4-3. Ramey surrendered three walks, four total hits and only one earned run.
