Ray “Mutt” Collins, age 90, passed away on April 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; son, Charlie Collins; parents, Carson & Carrie Collins; son-in-law, Victor Johnson; brother, Jim Collins; sisters, Magaline (Ervin) Delph, Ruthie (Fuzzy) Mullins, Betty Evans, Dorothy (Merle) Montgomery & Joyce Parks

He is survived by;

His children; Patricia Johnson, Deb (Clarence) Roberts, Tony (Lesa) Collins, Scott (Cindy) Collins & Janie (Doug) Lamb

Grandchildren; Christina Roberts, Ashley (Tim) Gibson, Taylor (Joshua) Slone, Colby (Lauren) Collins, Josh (Melissa) Roberts, Kayla (Adam) Huber, Dusty (Rechellle) Lamb, Courtney Collins, Wilson (Christina) Smyth, Walton Ray (Autumn) Collins & Kip Collins

The family wants to say how blessed they feel to have been raised by such a loving Christian dad. He loved his family unconditionally and was proud of all of them. “Hope for the best”.

Mr. Collins will lie in state from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Duck Creek Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 4 P.M.

Interment will follow in the Cody-Collins Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Larry Delph, Jerry Daniels, Floyd Bell & Roy (Preach) Clonce (one of his best friends).

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Jody Daniels, youth pastor at Duck Creek Baptist Church.
