Morristown West boys win Frank Carver Invitational

BRISTOL — The Morristown West track team beat out over 30 schools across East Tennessee to win the Frank Carver Invitational on Saturday.

Matthew Victory set the tone with a first-place finish in the 100 and second in the 200. Charles Kimbrough took first in the two-mile run. Jayden Howard took first in the 110 hurdles and Ladarion Rabion in the 300 hurdles. To round out a successful outing on the track, the 4×100 relay team and 4×400 relay team also took first. In the field, Victory won the long jump and Rabion won the triple jump. Victory was named the most outstanding runner and most outstanding on the field.

East was also at the event, with Riley Dabbs taking first in the 400 and fourth in the 200.

On the girls side, East saw a third-place finish in the 4×400 relay, and Marlee Morgan was fourth in the 100. For West, the girls had a third-place finish in the 4×800, anad Rylee Hurst was fourth in the 300 hurdles.
