Attention seniors! Hello, Class of 2026!

From Sarah Stafford

My name is Ms. Sarah Stafford, and I have the honor of announcing your names at graduation this year. As with my predecessor, Dr. Herron, it’s very important to me that I pronounce your name exactly as you would like. This is a huge moment in your life, and I want to celebrate it correctly.

I have started visiting TNN classes to hear the correct pronunciation of everyone’s names.

Please be thinking about how you would like me to say your name at graduation, and keep in mind any preferences your family might also have.

I must follow what is listed in PowerSchool; however, I can omit parts of your name if you prefer (for example, middle names). I cannot add anything that is not already in PowerSchool.

If you would like, you can also submit a recording of your name using the assignment Names/Nombres in this Google Classroom, which will help me make sure I pronounce it perfectly.

This edition of Trojan Talk highlights a busy week of sports, including baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, and track, alongside important graduation name pronunciation submissions for seniors with Ms. Stafford. Support our teams and prepare for the upcoming milestones, and as always, Go Trojans!
