Deidra (Dee Dee) Dyane Greenlee- DeLoach

Deidra Dyane Greenlee-DeLoach (Dee Dee), age 60, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Dee Dee was born on June 6, 1965 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital, the daughter of Harrison Oliver Greenlee and Etta Beatrice Greenlee. She attended Morristown West High School, graduating in 1983. She went on to attend and graduate from Morristown College in 1985. Following graduation from Morristown College, she attended Paine College in Augusta, GA.

In 1987, Dee Dee returned home to Morristown and began working at Alcoa Howmet for more than 3 decades. She married Marcus DeLoach in 1996 and together they welcomed their treasured daughter, Carrie Morgan.

To know Dee Dee was to love her. Her kindness and genuine love touched many lives. Her home was always open to anyone who needed to feel loved and cared for. If you were around her for any amount of time, you could count on having a good laugh. She loved her family, her friends, her dogs, cookouts, traveling, and watching sports, but the love of her life was being Nana to her precious granddaughter A’zia. Her bright light will be missed by all.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to everyone for their prayers, support, and love. Dee Dee was preceded in death by her mother, Etta Beatrice Greenlee, father, Harrison Oliver Greenlee; aunts, Albertine Greenlee Lyons, Helen Collins, Kathryn Moore; uncles, James Edward Greenlee, Walter Leon Wilson, John Kyle, Thaddeus Wallace, and James Moore.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Marcus DeLoach, her daughter, Carrie Morgan DeLoach, and granddaughter A’zia DeLoach; mother-in-law Josalyn Tillman-Todd, sisters-in-law NaTasha Fuller, Naisha Fuller, Nora Fuller, Rosalyn Davis; brother-in-law, Joseph Todd all of CA; brother, Eddie Davis and sister-in-law, Felipa Davis; nephew, Jayson Covington, 4 great nephews and 5 great nieces all of Nashville; God children, Zack “Ziggy” Young, Branda and Brandon Fanney of Morristown; aunts, Marva Louis Brown and Jacqueline Wilson Gray of Knoxville, Dorothy Wallace and Ann Kyle of Morristown, Virginia Scott of Marietta, GA; uncles, Richard Samuel Greenlee (Toni Greenlee) and James Goins of Morristown; and her many, many cousins who adored her.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Abundant Life Church in Morristown. A funeral service celebrating her life will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will be at Hamblen Memory Gardens following the service at 2:15.
