Elsie J. Manning of Morristown, passed away peacefully Friday, March 27, 2026 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville with her family by her side.

She was of the Baptist faith and a special sister and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Will and Relda Helton Manning, brother-in-law: Earl Hopson, special niece: Sherry Cox and her very special beloved pets, Hoppy and Bing.

Elsie is survived by her sister: Estel Lee Hopson of Talbott; nephews: Danny Hopson of Kodak and Mark Hopson (Damon Johnston) of Nashville. Great nephew: Daniel Hopson of New Market, great niece: Ridley Hopson; a special cousin: Shirley Lee of Morristown. Her fur babies: Onyx, Phoebe and Hanni. Dear friends: Shannon, Lisa and Holden Emery and Mark and Regina Crigger all of Morristown.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Stubblefield Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
