Clinch-Powell seeking information about housing conditions

F

Clinch-Powell Research Conservation and Development Council is seeking residents’ assistance to determine housing conditions in the community.

The non-profit organization has been helping community members have secure, safe, affordable housing for 37 years. In order to ensure available programming aligns with the needs of the communities in Cocke, Cumberland, Hancock, Hamblen, Hawkins, Grainger, Jefferson and Sevier Counties, Clinch-Powell is asking residents to complete a survey available by scanning the accompanying QR code or clicking the housing survey link at www.clinchpowell.net.

The survey is designed to collect accurate information about housing conditions within the community and housing situations of area residents.

The information will be used to help Clinch-Powell staff develop a housing plan, identify housing projects that would meet the needs of the community and provide important statistical information that can be used to pursue funds for housing projects through state, federal and private sources.

Information provided during the survey will be kept confidential and anonymous. All results of the survey will be shown as an overall total of all responses. The results of the survey will be posted on Clinch-Powell’s website at www.clinchpowell.net.
