No injuries reported in White Pine fire

A mobile home fire on Old Airport Road in White Pine resulted in no injuries Monday afternoon, thanks to a response of fire units within 10 minutes of the report.
At approximately 4:02 p.m., Monday, the White Pine Fire Department was called to the 3000 block of Old Airport Road for a structure fire.
Three engine companies, a tanker and 10 firefighters from White Pine Fire Department responded and helped to extinguish the fire.
Approximately 90% of the singlewide mobile home was involved in the incident.
Assistance was provided on and behind the scenes by Baneberry and Cocke County fire departments; Kansas-Talbott and South Hamblen volunteer fire departments; Jefferson County EMS/EMA, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, White Pine Police Department and Jefferson County E-911 agencies.
