Rich named 2026 United Way campaign chair
Jessica Rich, Senior Vice President and Market President at HomeTrust Bank, has been named the 2026 United Way Campaign Chair.
The announcement marks an exciting moment for the organization and the community.
Rich is the first woman to fill this role in 10 years, continuing a tradition shaped by past leaders including Maudie Briggs, Peggy Brewer, Susan Widener, Judy McGuffin, Shirley Holt, and Roni Snyder—women whose leadership helped strengthen the foundation of United Way’s work across the county.
Rich has more than 37 years of banking and community leadership experience, overseeing commercial strategy and community partnerships in the Morristown and Lakeway Area in her current role with HomeTrust Bank. Her career has also included leadership positions with US Bank, Civis Bank, and United Community Bank.
Executive Director Haley Fugate, the organization’s third executive leader in its 71‑year history, will work closely with Rich, alongside United Way’s seasoned Office Manager, Jennifer Winkler, whose operational expertise and commitment to the organization play a vital role in each year’s campaign success.
“Jessica brings a depth of professional experience and a genuine passion for serving this community,” said Fugate. “With Jessica’s leadership—and with Jennifer’s steady support—we are well‑positioned for a strong and impactful 2026 campaign.”
“United Way succeeds when neighbors come together. Jessica brings the relationships, energy, and discipline to unite businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers so we can help more families thrive across Hamblen County,” said Tim Coley, President of the Board of Directors.
“Strengthening Hamb-len County starts with ensuring people have access to the resources and support they need,” stated Rich. “I’m honored to help lead this year’s campaign and to work alongside the volunteers, partners, and donors who make real change possible.”
United Way of Hamblen County’s 2026 campaign will officially launch later this year, with additional details to be shared in the coming months.
