Guild presents female version of ‘The Odd Couple’

The Theatre Guild in Morristown is delighted to present The Odd Couple (Female Version) by Neil Simon, a fresh and hilarious twist on the beloved classic which begins with performances Friday, March 20.

Under the direction of Keela Henson, this fast-paced, laugh-out-loud comedy follows mismatched roommates Florence Unger and Olive Madison as they navigate friendship, chaos, and comedic disaster.

When the neat and high-strung Florence moves in with the easygoing and carefree Olive, sparks fly and personalities clash in a heartwarming and wildly funny story about opposites who discover they may need each other more than they think.

The cast features Sharon Seals as “Mickey,” David Tucker as “Manolo,” Kirby Timm as “Jesús,” Jenna H. Lawson as “Sylvie,” Cathy Lambert as “Vera,” Jamie Brown as “Florence,” Deborah Holtslag as “Renee,” and Tee Ridgeway as “Olive.”

Performances will be held March 20, 21, 27, and 28 at 8 p.m., with matinee performances on March 22 and 29 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for seniors and students. All seating is general admission, and theatre doors open 30 minutes before curtain.

The Theatre Guild is located at College Square Mall across from American Eagle in Morristown and patrons are encouraged to park and enter at the back of the mall.
