Grainger 14, Morristown East 3
Grainger lead-off batter Garrett Keiter went 2-for-3 with a pair of homeruns and four RBI’s as the Grizzlies ran past Morristown East 14-3 on Friday. Keiter’s two homers came in the first two innings with his second knock being a three-run blast that put the Rutledge visitors up 5-2. Grainger added seven more runs in the top of the fourth with Ty Collins, Carver Turley and Jackson Trent all driving in two runs each. Collins drove in three runs against the Hurricanes. Gabe Johnson struck out four batters and gave up four hits in five innings on the mound. Trooper Raider and Connor Southard each had an RBI for the Canes.
Jefferson County 10, Morristown West 4
Drew Molter and Isaiah Kirk combined for five RBIs as the Patriots downed the Trojans on Friday. Kirk also earned the win, pitching 3.2 one-hit innings with six strikeouts. For West, Collin Rouse went 2-4 at the plate with an RBI. The Trojans drew eight walks, but couldn’t take advantage with just four hits. Jeff opened the game with a three-run top of the first, beginning with a Zach Wears RBI single. The Patriots took further control with a four-run fifth inning.
Jefferson County 10, University School 2
The Patriots scored six runs in the first two innings to take a 10-2 win over the Bucs. Molter, Jackson Ormonde, Nate Nichols and Kirk each had two-hit evenings, with Kirk driving in three runs and Kirk two. Wears pitched five two-run innings to earn the win.
Lakeway Christian Academy 14, University High 6
Lakeway Christian scored 11 runs in the first innings and never looked back as they blasted University High 14-6 on Friday. Bryson Allen teed off on a three-run homer and Jack Hamilton added a two-run round-tripper as part of the 11-run first inning. Levi Branch, Chase Gockenbach, Diego Pinilla and Luke Burnett all hit doubles for the Lions.

Morristown West 11, Grainger 0
The Trojans bounced back from a three-game losing streak and shut out Grainger in five innings. Levi Blair set the tone with a two-hit performance in the leadoff spot, and Nate Ramsey racked up three RBI. Urijah Marsingill opened the bottom of the fourth with a two-run shot for West’s first dinger of the year.
TN High 9, Morristown West 6
Morristown West scored five runs in the fourth to take a 5-4 lead, but the Vikinings scored four unanswered to take a 9-6 win. Blair, Collin Rouse, Logan Long and Ramsey each had a pair of hits as Connor Rouse and Caleb Rodrick had two RBIs.
TN High 15, Morristown East 0
The Vikings picked up a second win over a Morristown school on Saturday with 15-0 drubbing of East. TN High’s Brodie Meyers no-hit the ‘Canes, and a 12-run second inning made for a quick end in four innings.

Jefferson County extended its win streak to four games with a 5-3 win over Boone. The Patriots put in all five runs between the fourth and fifth innings to power them to the win. Nichols and Kirk led Jeff with a pair of RBIs apiece. Brody Carr earned the win with a 1-hit, three-inning performance with three strikeouts.
