Casino Night Fundraiser for Serenity Hospice House coming soon

Get ready to shuffle the deck, spin the wheel, and go all in for a cause that changes lives.

Morristown and the Lakeway Area is invited to ante up on Saturday, April 18, at Casino Night, a high-energy fundraiser benefiting Serenity Hospice House. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Morristown Landing, promising an unforgettable evening of excitement, elegance, and community impact.

Guests will help to raise the stakes of Comfort Care in the Lakeway Area while enjoying the thrill of classic casino games, lively entertainment, and a vibrant social atmosphere—all while supporting Serenity House and its mission of providing compassionate care and support to individuals and families in the community.

Tickets are $100 and are expected to sell out quickly.

Gather your friends, dress to impress, and prepare for an evening where every roll of the dice supports a brighter future. 100% of proceeds benefit Serenity House and help to serve area Hospice agencies and the Lakeway community through the provision of supportive services for end-of-life care.

Attendees can try their luck at casino tables, mingle with community leaders, and compete for bragging rights—all in the spirit of generosity. While the chips may be “play money,” the impact is very real.

“This year’s Casino Night will transport guests back to the glamour and excitement of the Roaring Twenties,” Hospice House Executive Director Cheryl Fehl said. “With a Gatsby-inspired “speakeasy” theme, guests can expect an evening filled with great food, lively entertainment, classic casino games, and an atmosphere of elegance and excitement. It’s a chance to dress up, step into the spirit of the 1920s, and enjoy a night of fun while supporting a truly meaningful cause.

“Events like Casino Night allow our community to come together in a fun and memorable way while supporting the compassionate care Serenity House provides,” said Serinity House Board President Adam Ivy. “Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured helps ensure that individuals and families in our community receive dignity, comfort, and support during life’s most difficult moments.”

There are plenty of sponsorship opportunities available for the event.

Local businesses and community partners are invited to step into the spotlight through event sponsorships. Sponsorship packages provide valuable community visibility while directly supporting the vital programs and services Serenity House provides. Whether you’re feeling lucky or simply feeling generous, this is one night where everyone wins.

Friends of Hospice of the Lakeway Area partners with Serenity House End-of-Life Care that provides a home-like setting for patients who are not able to remain in their own homes. Grief camp for children, grief education and peer support programs for adults, and “Last Wish” services to make dreams come true for hospice patients that have included Weddings and Vow Renewal, early Christmas celebrations, shopping trips, dinner shows, or a Day at Dollywood.
