Carol Jean Rupe, age 84, of Morristown, passed away on February 26, 2026, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Laura Swiler; brother, Bud Swiler; and sister, Rose Wilson.

She is survived by her son, Steve Coffey; brother, Richard Swiler; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2025, at Mayes Mortuary.

Family and friends will meet at 1:45pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Eastview Memorial Gardens for a 2:00pm Graveside Service, (1320 Andrew Johnson Hwy, Strawberry Plains, TN 37871).
