Additionally, there is a tennis match against Cocke County scheduled for Feb. 26 at Frank Lorino Park.
Attention seniors! Graduation season is officially here for the Class of 2026, and seniors must prioritize ordering their caps and gowns.
Orders are currently being accepted through the official graduation link until March, though students also have the option to visit Mrs. Vesser in the front office to join the rental list. In addition to graduation preparations, several local scholarship opportunities are now open.
The Noah Dean Memorial/Electric Shock Drowning Scholarship invites students to submit an essay regarding lake safety and electric shock drowning to Mrs. Gillett by April 6, 2026. Aspiring medical professionals can apply for the Health Sciences Achievement Award via the Tennessee Center for Health Workforce Development to support their future healthcare degrees.
Furthermore, the Joint Economic & Community Development Board of Hamblen County offers funding for seniors enrolling in CTE programs at TCAT Morristown or Walters State Community College.
Applicants for this vocational award must submit their forms and recommendation letters to Mrs. Gillett by April 9, 2026, or directly to the JECDB by April 10, 2026.
As the final days of February unfold, the energy across campus is a powerful reminder of the dedication and talent within these halls. Whether students are finalizing scholarship essays, prepping for upcoming club meetings, or competing for victory on the court and the field, every effort contributes to the vibrant legacy of our school.
Stay focused, stay motivated, and make every moment count as the spring semester gains momentum. It is a great time to be a student, a leader, and an athlete, and the entire community stands behind the Class of 2026 and beyond. Go Trojans!
