Urine Trouble: MHHS continues puppy pad fundraiser through Valentine’s Day

A lover scorned? The Morristown Hamblen Humane Society has the perfect way to tell someone “You’re in a mess of trouble.”

For just a few days more, people can donate $5 to the animal welfare group to have a first name (with last initial, if needed) written on a puppy pad, and resident dogs will micturate as needed to make the point that’s needed.

“Donations can be made in person, on our website or by phone,” the MHHS social media said.

MHHS Director Carlee Stevenson said they’re not going to publish any photos of the finished product, and the project is meant in good fun to raise support for the shelter’s mission, but they will forward a photo of the animal’s work if requested.

“The final day is Valentine’s Day, February 14,” Stevenson said, urging folks to give a call.

The phone number is 423-581-1494 and the website is mh-humanesociety.com.
