The first Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce’s “Lunch and Learn” event of the year will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Chamber Board Room, located at 825 West First North Street.

Pye Barker Fire and Safety will host the first “Lunch and Learn,” focusing on life safety requirements for businesses or industries. Topics include, “What is required by the State, City and County?”

Updated information will be presented on fire alarms, sprinkler systems, wet and dry systems, fire extinguishers, back-up lighting, exit signs, FDC connections, kitchen hoods, monitoring, inspections and maintenance, plus much more.

They’ll make sure you leave at the end of the hour knowing what you need to do to make sure your business is code compliant. Cost of the lunch from Redbud Deli in Morristown is $20 and pre-registration is required.
