Christopher Bruce Campbell

Christopher Bruce Campbell, beloved son, brother, grandson and nephew, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 12th, at his home in Greeneville, Tenn, surrounded by his family .

He was the son of Bruce and Elizabeth Campbell of Morristown. He was born Jan. 20, 1971, and moved to Greeneville at the age of 10.

He resided at first at Oakhaven and then Whirlwind, homes established by Comcare, Inc., a private agency.

He loved sunshine, apple pie, long rides in his van, and “gus,” his crocheted tube that he loved to handle and hold. His spirit, determination, courage and strength were inspirational to all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Katheryne Waters (Larry) of Louisville, Ky., and their children Caroline and John Campbell; uncles Don Thurber, Frankfort, Ky.; Evan Waters, Piney Flats, Tenn.; cousin Claire Campbell and children Owen and Robin Frank, Austin, Texas.

He was predeceased by grandparents Bruce and Dorothy Campbell of Morristown and Dr. Donald and Katheryne Thurber of Frankfort, Ky.

The family will be forever grateful to the loving care and friendship provided over the years by his Comcare family and most recently by Caris Hospice.

The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at First Presbyterian Church, Morristown.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, at Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Ky.
