Carolyn Marie Waddell, age 76 of Talbott, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at her home.

She had fought severe depression for many years.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Carolyn attended Ohio State University. She was a Physical Therapist, having worked in Texas, Iowa, Michigan, and the UK; before moving to Morristown in 1983.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dennis; two daughters, Stacy & Kimberly; and brothers, Tim & David Pretchel. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Emma Pretchel; and brother, Steven Kovach.

She was a loving mother and wife and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at Mayes Mortuary from Noon to 2PM on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 with a Memorial Service to follow.
