The Morristown West boys golf team continued their strong start to the season on Thursday afternoon with a defeat of Grainger.

The Trojans shot a 152 to easily get past Grainger, who finished with a 191. On the girls side, Grainger snuck past West with a 111-112 win.

West was led by Greyson Smith and Todd Greene each firing a 36. Jace Collake shot a 39, while Riley Short and Luke Lindsey each shot a 41.

Grainger was led by Lane Seals with a 42, while Linx Moore shot a 46. Hadley Johnson finished with a 48 and Jacob Hirschfield shot a 55.

On the girls side for Grainger, Ryen Lerchen shot a 53 and Kelsie Davis shot a 58. West’s Audrey Noe shot a 52 and Sophie Davis finished with a 60.
