Willis “Gordon” Walker, age 80 of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday evening, August 11, 2023, at Jefferson Park following a brief illness.

He was born on August 13, 1942, to the late Alfred and Inez (Landrum) Walker. He was preceded in death by his parents; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff, and Cathy Walker; brother, Eddie Walker; sister, Selma Walker Young.

Gordon is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Billie Reneau Walker; sons, Tony (Lisa) Walker and Randy (Tammy) Walker; grandchildren, Brittany (Brian) Bunch, and David Walker; great granddaughter, Aaliyah Bunch; brother, Dale (Sherry) Walker, several nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends, especially the Dandridge Hardware Gang.

He was a retired transportation manager for United Parcel Service after 20 years of service and then was a truck driver for Roadway for over 16 years. He was a member of the Oakland Methodist Church and attended Edward’s Chapel Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Chapel (Dandridge) with Rev. Hartsell McCurry officiating. Interment graveside services will be Wednesday, 11:00am at Hillcrest Cemetery, Dandridge, with Rev. Lennie Miller presiding over the committal service. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 4:00 to 7:00pm prior to the funeral service.
