Florrie “Gay” Tyree-Kudla, 80, of Bean Station, passed away Monday evening, August 7, 2023, at Morristown-Hamblen Health Care System.

Gay retired from General Motors in Detroit, Michigan and later moved to East Tennessee. She loved to cook, go on cruises and especially enjoyed retirement life with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Stanley and Louise Altizer Goodwin; brothers, Bob Goodwin and Stan (Sharon) Goodwin; grandson, Brandon Heath; and nephew, Robert Goodwin.

Gay is survived by her husband, Frank Kudla; daughter, Judith (Ricky) Tyree-Scholl; sister, Shirley Goodwin Kisskalt; grandchildren, Erika Tyree (Andrew) Postma, Lindsey Heath and Ashley Tyree; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Cameron, Madison, Everette and Annelise; nieces, Roberta (Willis) Smith and Renee Goodwin; and, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday evening, 6:30 PM in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Malone officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM prior to the funeral. Interment services will be in Romulus Memorial Cemetery conducted by Crane Funeral Home in Romulus, Michigan.
