Roy Dean Seals, age 62, of Morristown, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 5, 2023.

He was saved at an early age. He was a big NASCAR fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Seals; father, Willie Seals; brothers, Farris and Jerry Seals; and grandparents, George and Dora Seals and Henry and Surilda Barnard.

He is survived by his mother, Ploma Seals; son, Ron Hazelwood; daughter, Donna (Derrick) Mullins; grandchildren, Heather (Jaice) Hazelwood, Christian Mullins, and Gary Hazelwood; great-grandchildren, Kamron, Kloe, and Jett; nephew, Donald (Ashley) Seals; niece, Kristi (Logan) Seals; special great nephews, Logan Collins and Kenny Davis; special great-nieces, Navaeha Dienst and Sandra Seals; special uncle and best friend, Kenneth Barnard; and special sister-in-law, Trina Seals and Stella.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 8th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Morgan and Rev. Truman Coffey officiating.

Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 9th at Bent Creek Cemetery for graveside services.
