Stepping Out, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that works to create a pattern of positive behavior in individuals and families by equipping them with skills to achieve emotional, physical, and spiritual growth.

The agency advocates for adults to rise above adversity and take ownership of their future and as parents to become the positive role models for the next generation.

Stepping Out has been serving Hamblen County for over 30 years. Stepping Out’s Program consists of curriculum specifically chosen because it encourages a new paradigm of positive thinking and contributes to making stronger, more secure families, a dedicated workforce and engaged citizens for our community.
