Martha Jeanette Barnard
Martha Jeanette Barnard, age 69, of Bean Station, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
She was a lifelong member of Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Thorn Hill.
She professed her faith in Christ at the age of 13.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, going new places, and seeing new things.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana Edward Barnard; parents, Henry and Christine Coffey; sister, Helen Ann Pyne; brothers, James Coffey and David Coffey; and nephew, Patrick Collins, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Mitchell (Dorothy) Barnard, Teressa (Michael) Barnett, Charles Barnard, Serena Barnard, Pamela Barnard, Tiffany (Tony) Helton, William Cordell (Melanie) Barnard, and Matthew (Breanna) Barnard; grandchildren, Luke, Bryce, Tristan, Lily, Addison, Daniel, Ivy, Haley, and Maddy; special grandchild, Ayla (Morgan) Seals; special nephews, David “Dewy” (Allison) Coffey and Damon Collins; brother, Herb (Joan) Coffey; sister, Bernice Coffey; and several other wonderful family members too numerous to mention.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday August 4th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Stevie Johnson and Rev. Brad Winstead officiating. Interment will follow at Dalton
Cemetery in Bean Station. The family would like to thank everyone who has called, visited, and brought food that made these last few weeks special.
