Sammie Kay “K.K.” Moore, age 70, of Morristown, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.

She attended Little Redeemed Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and avid Vols fan. She loved her cats, Bella and Molly and her Jack Russell that has passed, Prissy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Ray Moore; parents, Samuel Thomas and Louise Skeen; and special aunts, Bea and Jo.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa “Missy” (James) Cupp; grandchildren, Chelsea (Danny) Arnold and T.J. Cupp; great-grandchildren, Cameron Arnold and Raylie Arnold; special cousins, Kathy Jackson, Jennifer Hughes, and Ruth Ann Henry; and special friend, Clevie Cupp.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, July 24th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Shane Russell and Rev. Terry Adkins officiating.

Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 25th at Hills Union Cemetery in Dandridge for graveside services.
