After much anticipation, the new Ashley store in Morristown will be opening its doors to the public today, Tuesday, July 25.

The 27,000 square ft building located between Bargain Hunt and Tennessee Jacks on Terrace Lane will employ 13 people.

The store is locally owned and operated, serving the community by helping guests design their dream home.

Following Providence Enterprises’ vision to “Be Prosperous and Giving,” beds are donated to local children in need through Ashley’s Hope to Dream program.

Bob Young, owner of Providence Enterprises, was born and raised in Morristown, and opened his first local Ashley in Charleston, West Virginia in 2007. Since then, the company has grown to include many locations: Barboursville/Parkersburg/Beckley in West Virginia, Johnson City/Kingsport/Jefferson City/Morristown in Tennessee, and Bristol/Wise in Virginia.

Additionally, Young opened two Ashley Outlets, one in Saint Albans, West Virginia, and the other in Gray, and one Ashley Clearance Center in Nitro, WV. Providence Enterprises will also be celebrating the openings of two additional stores in Kentucky and Ohio later this year.

The freshly updated showroom features complete lifestyle vignettes, down to the final detail of lighting, rugs and wall art. Product categories include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattress gallery and accessories.

The Grand Opening of Ashley in Morristown falls just before the largely anticipated move of the Kingsport store to the Kingsport Pavilion Shopping Center.

The store hours are: Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Providence Enterprises invites the Morristown Community out to its Grand Opening Event on Thursday, August 10th. The store will have snacks provided by Dips Ice Cream Truck, Puertorican Smoke, Snowie of Lakeway and more! It will also have giveaway drawings happening every hour from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
