Mark Paul Gilliam, age 55, of Morristown, was set free on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Life Care Center of Morristown.

He was a member of Mt. Vale Church of God and was a loving father, grandfather, and son and loved to make people laugh. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Gilliam; and brother-in-law, Tommy Horton.

He is survived by his children, Josh (Sue Ann) Gilliam, Whitney Gilliam, and Jessica (J.T.) Hickle; mother, Lois “Tiny” Gilliam; grandchildren, KayLynn Gilliam, Jordan Mills, Corbin Mills, Hudson Hickle, and Hagen Hickle; brothers, Doak (Sarah) Gilliam and Benny (Barbara) Gilliam; sister, Olisa (Sherman) McKinney; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 25th at Mt. Vale Church of God in Jefferson City. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. T.H. Ferrell and Rev. Phillip Ruth officiating. Interment will follow at Noe’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
