Crave Hotdogs and BBQ truck has officially opened in Morristown and frankly, they’re worth the drive.

The Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Wednesday to celebrate Morristown’s newest food truck, Crave Hot Dogs and BBQ.

Crave is a full-service franchised food truck offering gourmet hot dogs and BBQ items. Some of their popular menu items include Memphis dogs, Tacos trio and smoked brisket.

Crave is owned by Selena and Brian Musick, Annette Collins and Michael Pearson and is the only Crave food truck in Tennessee.

Selena Musick says they happened upon the franchise when they were looking for something they could own together as a family and pass down to their three children.

“We were looking for something to have as a legacy, and long term for our children, something we could build on in the future and they can do too,” Musick said.

Musick says they have already been warmly welcomed by the community and on top of setting up at the Morristown Farmer’s Market, they have several catering events planned in the future.

Musick says opening has been a learning experience but other local food truck vendors have stepped in to help and offer support.

“Just opening and getting prepared for opening, there’s a lot of moving parts so it’s definitely been a learning experience.”

“It’s been a really fun process, we’ve met some other food trucks in the area and they’ve been super helpful, the community outreach has been really good too. We are just really excited to be here,” Musick said.
