Jimmy Gilliam, age 70, of Mooresburg, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023. He lived in Mooresburg and owned Gilliam’s Furniture manufacture for many years.

He was preceded in death by parents, James and Mattie Gilliam; and infant son, Jared Patrick Gilliam.

He is survived by children, Anthony Goforth (Misty), Jordan Gilliam, Jenna York, Jacob Gilliam, and Joey Gilliam; step daughter, Tonye Gilland; grandchildren, Jacey Grey, Preston Winstead, and JJ Goforth; great grandchildren, Vincent Boyd, and Kayden Barnett; sisters, Ella Q. Wolfe (Wade), and Glenda Dalton (Clifford); brothers, Michael Gilliam, Jack Gilliam, and James Gilliam Jr. (Alma); and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 11:00 am in Murphy Cemetery. The family asks if you plan on attending the graveside service to please meet at the cemetery by 10:45 am. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
