MEDIC Regional Blood Center is partnering with Dollywood to host an area wide blood drive July 17-21. This blood drive will be available at area donor centers and mobile drives.

Anyone who makes a successful blood donation will receive a one-day ticket to Dollywood theme park. Due to the popularity of this incentive donors are required to make an appointment to donate.

MEDIC is experiencing a critically low inventory of O Negative blood and encourages individuals to inquire about their O Negative club.

MEDIC is the primary blood product provider for 25 hospitals in 22 counties including Blount Memorial, Covenant Health Systems, East TN Childrens Hospital, Tennova Healthcare and UT Medical Center.

MEDIC is an independent nonprofit organization. Products donated through MEDIC truly help the community members in East TN and Southeastern Kentucky. Products donated through any other collection organization do not stay in East TN or Southeastern Kentucky as those products are shipped out of the area and nationally.
