James “Jim” Richard Henderson, age 85, of Morristown, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at his residence.

He was a member of Economy United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Hershel Henderson; mother, Rhea Dixson; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Laura Ellen Quarles.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Jearldeen Henderson; special friends, Jimmy and Mary Gilbert and Floyd and Judy Bowes; and honorary grandchildren, Christian Godfrey and Faith Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, July 2nd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Monday, July 3rd at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Mausoleum for entombment services with Rev. Jim Shanks officiating.
