Charles Bledsoe, age 73, of Rogersville, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023. He was a member of Hubert’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid bee keeper and loved growing his fruit trees.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Ida Bledsoe; and siblings, Dorothy Wallace (Bud), Betty HouseWright (Raymond), Joyce Henard, and D.H. Bledsoe (Shirley).

He is survived by loving wife of 50 years, Peggy Bledsoe; sons, Jason Bledsoe (Cassandra), and Jamie Bledsoe (Whitney); grandchildren, Aspen Corn, Katie Bledsoe (Andrew), Kylie Bledsoe, Alyssa Bledsoe, Ethan Bledsoe, Makenna Bledsoe, and Cooper Bledsoe; mother of Jamie’s children, Trena Bledsoe; siblings, Charlotte Hill (Cary), and Joe Bledsoe; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Friday, June 23, 2023 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm with Rev. Travis Porterfield officiating.

Graveside service will be held in Mountain Home National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ethan Bledsoe, Cooper Bledsoe, Donnie Hurd, Brad Jarnigan, and Rick Ramsey.
