Ashley Homestore in Jefferson City has won the Store of the Year and say they owe it all to the outpouring of support from the community.

“We opened the store November 13th 2020 and just had a really strong community and we really out performed our initial thoughts for this area,” says District Sales Manager Brian Aldridge. “It’s the culture of the team and how they’re treating their guests.” Aldridge said.

To achieve this level of award a store has to score the highest in 8 categories. Aldridge explained that the process to win this award comes with a lot of teamwork and help from the customer base, “It really breaks down into eight different categories. it breaks down to online customer satisfaction, google satisfaction, customer satisfaction presence, five star reviews, facebook, people recommending the location, percentage sales increase, five star reviews, that type of thing,”

“Corporate tracks the traffic in each individual category. Certain categories that they track are mattress percentages of sales and then all the things are factored into an overall score” Aldridge said.

Aldridge explained that In the Under Ten Million Dollar category, there’s about 800 locations nationally. “We won number one under all the factors included which is a pretty incredible achievement when you factor in all those locations and you factor in places like Atlanta. It’s just pretty awesome that it’s right here in this area.” Aldridge said.

Chief Operating Officer Chad Lineberry said he received the news while in a meeting in Vegas, and he didn’t quite believe it, “We were at the table and they’re going through the list and they announce number one, and everyone starts clapping and looking at us and we look around and see it on the screen, Jefferson City Tn. We were speechless.” Lineberry said.

Lineberry gives all the credit to his team and to the community. He says they’re the driving force behind the success.

“800 locations under that volume threshold, we’re really proud of this team. They do a great job we celebrate them regularly. We did not expect to be the store of the year, we knew the store was doing really well but it was a complete shock and we’re just super proud of the team.”

“Our reputation is strong and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without our community support.” Lineberry said.
