Morristown’s Sharon Blair was awarded the AAFCS Student Organization Distinguished Service Award during Carson-Newman University’s Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) annual banquet.

The banquet celebrates students and the generous donations that enable them to access a Christian, liberal arts-based education that may not otherwise be possible.

A 1985 C-N alumna, Blair graduated with an emphasis in interior design. In 1991, she established “Blair’s Interior Designs” in Morristown. Blair has continued to support her alma mater, serving on the Family and Consumer Sciences Department’s Advisory Board, helping coordinate interior design student-trips, presenting to interior design classes and serving on FCS panels.

The banquet also recognized area students.
