Dorothy “Cookie” Bell, age 88 of Morristown, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was retired from American Enka.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C and Margaret Holdway, her loving husband, Clarence Bell, brother, Raymond Holdway and his wife Norma, and several sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law.

She is survived by her nieces, Bonnie and husband John Eneix, Pam and husband Darrell Blankenbeckler, Julia Belcher and nephew, Willie and his wife Diane Holdway, sisters-in-law, Katheryn (Herman) Weston and Frances Reed. Great-nieces and nephews, Scott Eneix, Emily Eneix, Derrick Blankenbeckler, Dillon Blankenbeckler and Anna Holdway, also several other family members.

The family would like to express a very special Thank You to Carol Helton, Gracie Kimberlin and Barbara Baker for their special love and care through her illness.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bobby Kitts officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Graveside Interment will follow in Point Pleasant Cemetery.
