‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ coming to Knoxville Children’s theater

Knoxville Children’s Theatre, in partnership with the Clayton Foundation will present a live production of “The Lion, The Witch, & the Wardrobe.”
The play will be performed May 5th through the 21st. Thursdays and Fridays at 7 PM, Saturdays at 1 PM and 5 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM.
This dramatization of C.S. Lewis’ classic work faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to be-forgotten Narnia. The intense action features chases, duels and escapes as the witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Aslan.
This story of love, faith, courage and giving, with its triumph of good over evil, is a true celebration of life.
The play is performed by 22 talented young actors and designed by 12 talented young designers from ages 9 to 18. The cast includes KCT veteran Delaney Rickman portraying Aslan with Eason Bulllard, Vivi Bullard, Graham Sexton, and Avery Schroeder playing Peter, Lucy, Edmund, and Susan respectively. Joining them are veterans Truman Ball as Father Christmas, Eden Carnes as the White Witch, Carter Case as Mr. Beaver. Fenris Ulf will be portrayed by Reese Creekmore, and Lena Kennedy will portray Centaur. Tumnus will be played by Charlie Jackson and Unicorn will be portrayed by Janie Long.
KCT veterans joining the cast are Hogan Honeycutt, Maggie McNally, Lyric Westerfield-Dyer, and Oliver Wolfe, Making their KCT debuts in this production are Tessa Arwe, Zee Carnes, Mason Cox, Lucas Howell, Adeline Linton, and Andie Schroeder.
