David Earl Blair, age 68, of Bean Station, passed away peacefully with the Lord on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at his residence with his family by his side.

He was a member of Bean Station Baptist Church; worked at Precision Boilers in Morristown for over 20 years and had a passion for fly fishing or just sitting on the bank with his granddaughter.

Preceding him in death were his mother: Mary Ginnelee Samsel Blair; father: Melvin E. Blair; and brother and sister in law: Douglas (Christine) Blair.

David was a wonderful husband, father, and papaw. He leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Jimmye Blair; daughter: Amy Derks; granddaughter: Jenna “Marie” Blair; brother: Donald Clark (Gwen) Blair; several nieces and nephews, beloved cousins and many lifelong friends and a special friend: Buford Russell.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
