Don’t be late for a very important date! Encore Theatrical Company’s Junior Company members will present a “Mad Hatter’s Tea Party” on Saturday, April 29. Two seatings will be offered, from 10am to noon and from 2pm to 4pm, in the Parish Hall at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, located at 601 Main St. in Morristown.

Kids can follow Alice down the Rabbit Hole to Wonderland and enjoy crafts, character photos, games and snacks. The party is intended for children from pre-school to 5th grade. Cost for the event will be $20 per child, or $15 per child for families with more than one attending.

Encore’s Junior Company includes young adults from high school to college-aged who are interested in experiencing all aspects of theatre, “shadowing” jobs such as assistant director, stage manager, props master, costumer, and all aspects of technical theatre, in addition to performing. Chosen by application each year, they have come together to create the costumes and schedule the activities for this fun event for the community.

Characters appearing at the event will include The Mad Hatter portrayed by Chase Hughes, Lilah Biery as Alice in Wonderland, Jackson Collins as the White Rabbit, and Alix Thompson as the Queen of Hearts.

Other performers include: Annabeth Workman as the Cheshire Cat, Molly Cox as the Caterpillar, and Jaiden Broyles and Sidney Groves as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.
