With two days of early voting in the Morristown Municipal election underway, totals are ahead of the 2019 pace, the last city election with a mayoral race.

As of Thursday, 139 voters had cast ballots in the election. After two days of voting in 2019, 114 voters had cast ballots.

The Manley Intermediate District leads the way with 35 votes cast with Morristown-Hamblen Library with 31 votes.

Jeff Gardner, Administrator of Elections for Hamblen County, said the first day votes included 12 from nursing homes and 32 absentee ballots.
