Walters To Host Artist, Educator Becky Guinn

Artist and educator Becky Guinn will speak at noon on April 18 in room 150 of the Clifford H. “Bo” Henry Center for Business and Technology.

Guinn was an art teacher when a reaction to medicine required doctors to amputate her arms and legs. She continued teaching and painting. She now focuses on perfecting her watercolor skills with a mechanical hand and serves as a consultant for an advertising agency. Hear how she overcame seemingly insurmountable odds to pursue her passion and share it with others.

The public is welcome to come hear Becky’s powerful story. There is no admission charge.
