Joe Bob “J.B.” Moore, age 88, of Talbott, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from Magnavox. J.B. loved being a softball umpire and he was a loving father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Moore; parents, Bert and Vallie Moore; and brother, Howard Moore.

He is survived by his children, Anna (Dennis) White, Joe Moore (Sandy Muncy), and James Moore; grandchildren, Lou Ann (Marty) Foulks, Carol (Ed) Shipley, Christy (Stephen) Ball, Lydia (Robert) Peterson, Elisha Moore, Joshua Moore, and Brandi (Robert) Latham; great-grandchildren, Jared and Jackson Foulks, Nathanael, Madalene, Moriah, and Josiah Ball, Austin, Sierra, and Ashton Burns, Emily and Chase Peterson, and Jackson Moore; great-great grandchild, Kyrie Allen; sister, Barbara Watts; and sister-in-law, Peggy Moore.

A celebration of J.B.’s life will be held from 2 – 5 p.m. Saturday, April 15th at the home of his sister, Barbara Watts, 660 Talbott Kansas Road, Talbott, TN 37877.
