Linda O. Cook, age 70, of Whitesburg, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Fred and Dorothy Holt; and brother, Timmy Holt.

She is survived by her husband of forty years, George Cook; children, Jamie (Gina) Russell, Melinda Painter (Richard Graf), and Melissa (Josh) Hensley; brothers, Fred (Judy) Holt and Donald Holt; sisters, Kathy (Freddy) Bragg, Darlene (David) Carter, Wanda Overholt, Golda Campbell, Lois Ricker, and Barbara Weems; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 11th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Allen Payne officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12th at Bear Creek Cemetery in Bybee for graveside services.
