The Morristown Police Department recently welcomed seven new officers.

On April 3, Officers Chase Bewley, Jarod Bond, Michael Boswell, Aaron Davis, Tabitha Dykes, Aaron Greene and Oliver Kallal were sworn in by Judge Matt Sexton; supported by their family, friends and MPD personnel.

All officers have started their field training. Officers Bewley, Bond, Davis, Dykes, Greene and Kallal begin the Walters State Community College Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy April 9. Officer Boswell will be the new MPD Litter Crew Coordinator and a reserve officer for the department.

MPD personnel congratulate the new officers and look forward to serving the citizens of Morristown with them.
